ATLANTA (1/22/21)–ProNovos has hired Demetra Nastopoulos—a business analyst and project manager with more than 15 years of experience in optimizing technology for diverse companies—as Customer Success Manager.
Atlanta-based ProNovos creates operations- and resource-management solutions for construction contractors and brings advanced data-warehousing and analytics capabilities to users of Foundation, Viewpoint, Sage, Procore and many other construction applications.
As GCs and specialty contractors on-board the ProNovos construction intelligence cloud, Nastopoulos serves as their primary point of contact. Her service-oriented approach is already winning praise from ProNovos customers, said Bruce Orr, founder and Chief Data Scientist. “I think of Demetra as our ‘listener in chief,’” he said. “She is laser-focused on understanding precisely what our customers want to achieve and then working with our technical specialists to make it happen. We’re thrilled to welcome Demetra to the ProNovos team.”
With degrees in mathematics and economics from The University of Texas at Austin, Nastopoulos has served in a variety of analytical and project management roles. Most recently, she was a business analyst for Norcross, Georgia-based 5Q Partners, where her responsibilities included serving major national clients; understanding and correcting technology-related pain points; and aligning the company’s information environment with its business goals.
She also worked as a database analyst for UPS; a process-development specialist for CFLane (now CF Real Estate Services); and a process consultant specializing in operations/back office for ROMABIO, among other past positions.
Over the course of her career, the Atlanta native has gained expertise in the Agile development methodology, the SQL database language, social media strategy, construction management, and real estate project management. She is fluent in French and Greek.
As Nastopoulos sees it, implementing new processes and software is about deftly managing change at every stage. “Yes, it’s important to understand where that customer is today, and where they want their construction company to be moving forward,” she said. “My job is to make sure our customers have a rewarding journey as we collaborate with them to bring their vision to life.”
