Associate Product Manager – Cash Flow

We are hiring an Associate Product Manager to help build cash flow tools that contractors and project teams rely on to manage when money comes in and when it goes out. This role focuses on cash flow visibility, payment timing, and early payment workflows.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. You will work closely with the director of product, engineering, and design to translate real construction workflows into clear product requirements. The work involves financial detail, operational complexity, and direct customer impact.

What you’ll do

• Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

• Document workflows, edge cases, and business rules for financially sensitive features

• Collaborate with engineering and design during sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews

• Work with QA to validate accuracy and completeness before release

• Collect and synthesize feedback from customers, support, sales, and internal teams

• Support releases with documentation and release notes

• Review usage data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement

What you’ll focus on

This role focuses on cash flow timing and visibility for contractors and project teams. Areas of focus may include:

• Project and company-level cash flow forecasting

• Billing and pay application workflows, including SOVs and invoicing

• Forecasting expected payment timing based on historical behavior

• Payables workflows, including subcontractor pay apps, vendor invoices, and purchase orders

• Identifying cash flow pressure points and surfacing options to address them

• Supporting early payment workflows by providing data-backed signals around invoice timing and legitimacy

What we are looking for

• Approximately 2 to 3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role

• Experience writing requirements and shipping features with engineering teams

• Strong written communication skills and comfort working in a remote, async environment

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured requirements

• Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering, design, support, and sales

• Experience with B2B SaaS products; construction or financial software experience is a plus
