That’s just one example, but as someone that is in the business of Construction Analytics, I see firsthand how companies are suffering from this trend. Just last week, I was working with an engineering firm that uses Salesforce to manage their quotes, a different application to manage their accounting, yet another application for project management. The owner of the company was frustrated by not being able to aggregate all of that data across the entire operation of the company. He stated that this was a risk to their organization and clients were suffering because they were selling more work than they could handle.
